| 1970 - Chester Wicker, traditional jazz pianist from New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on this day. He was born in 1904, and played with some of the dixieland legends in New Orleans. Chester performed with Tony Fougerat, Tony Almerico, Irving 'Faz' Fazola and Digger Laine. He died in New Orleans. |
