1920 - George (Curly Barefoot) Miller was born on this day. A Texas blues singer and a barefoot dancer, tap dancer and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to cutting his own recordings, he also appeared or contributed to recordings of Stick McGhee and J. Mayo Williams. He passed away in May of 1999 at the age of 78 from a stroke.
