1943 - Alton (T.K) Hulin was born on this day. A swamp pop singer and a native of St. Martinville, Louisiana. At age 16 he formed the Lonely Knights, and shortly after made his solo debut with the single "I'm Not a Fool Anymore". He also recorded hits "As You Pass Me By (Graduation Night)" and "Alligator Bayou."
