1970 - Fredy Omar was born on this day. A native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras and a singer. He came to New Orleans in 1992. He has been fronting his own group Fredy Omar Con Su Banda since 1997. His group consists of some of the bests musicians in New Orleans, and he is known as The Latin King.
