2000 - Warren Ceasar, a singer, trumpeter and flautist and a native of Basile, Louisiana passed away on this day at the age of 48. He was the leader of Warren Ceasar & The Creole Zydeco Snap Band. They were known for their songs "La Lune Bleu" and "Zydeco Boogaloo". During his musical career he worked with Worked with Zachary Richard, Luther Ingram, Al Green, Guitar Gable, Clifton Chenier and Isaac Hayes. |
