1977 - In the category of the greatest shows that never happened, Led Zeppelin was scheduled to play the Louisiana Superdome on this day. Robert Plant's son passed away the night before the show, and the reamainder of the tour was cancelled. The band never toured again, as John Bonham died before the next albums tour.
