1981 - Roy Brown, R&B singer from New Orleans, Louisiana died on this day. He recorded his own tune 'Good Rockin' Tonight' in 1948, then teamed with Dave Bartholomew for his Top 40 hit 'Let The Four Winds Blow' in 1957. He was inactive until he began touring in the 70's until his death.
