| 1918 - William Brown was born on this day. Traditional jazz tuba and sousaphone player from New Orleans, Louisiana. Played for many years in the 'George Williams Brass Band' and later in his career performed with the 'Eureka Brass Band'. Williams died in New Orleans in October of 1975. |
