1891 - Everett 'Buck' Rogers was born on this day. Traditional jazz pianist and drummer from New Orleans, Louisiana. He played with Abbie Brunies and Johnny Wiggs during his career. He was also the first drummer for the Dukes of Dixieland. Everett died in New Orleans on August 28, 1952.
