| 1923 - Adam Hebert was born on this day. A cajun fiddler and native of Church Point, Louisiana. He began playing with accordion player Felton Carriere. In the 1950s, he formed Adam Hebert and The Country Playboys and recorded for Swallow Records. His song "La Valse de Ma Cherie" was used in the soundtrack of the 1975 Charles Bronson movie, "Hard Times." He passed away in October 2010. |
