1896 - Percy McCay was born on this day. Traditional jazz string and wind musician from New Orleans, Louisiana. His brother was a multi-instrumentalist, Thompson McCay. Percy was very talented and played with the 'Invincibles' and the 'Six and 7/8' in addition to others.
