1933 - Elmore Nixon was born on this day. A pianist and vocalist and a native of Crowley, Louisiana. During his career he played with Clifton Chenier, Lester Williams, Lightnin' Hopkins, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Hop Wilson and others. He died in 1975.
