| 1955 - Carl Leblanc was born on this day. A guitarist, banjoist and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. During his career, he's played with Sun Ra, Fats Domino, Allen Toussaint, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley and Ellis Marsalis. He plays with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band as well as conducting workshops at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans and at facilities throughout the United States as well as conducting music education performances throughout the United States. |
