| 1965 - Joseph (Joe) Falcon, a Cajun accordion player and a native of Roberts Cove, Louisiana passed away on this day at the age of 65. He is best known for recording the first Cajun song entitled "Allons à Lafayette" in 1928. He and his wife Cléoma Breaux went to New Orleans to record the first Cajun record then went on to perform across southern Louisiana and Texas. |
