| 1935 - Louis Jones was born on this day. A gospel vocalist and a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana. His nickname was "Sweet Lou", and he's most well-known for his time singing with the Zion Harmonizers. He aslo sang with another gospel groups called Southern Tone. Louis passed away in 2007 at the age of 71. |
