1966 - Robert 'Buster' Moore, traditional jazz trombonist from New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on this day. He was born in 1898, and became a member of Johnny Brown's band by the 1920's. He wasn't well known until a re-emergence in the 1960's at Preservation Hall, and with the 'Gibson Brass Band'.
