1935 - Charles 'Hungry' Williams was born on this day. A session drummer and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He became a session player in the 1950's and played at the legendary Cosimos studio. He recorded for many including Huey Smith, Clarence 'Frogman' Henry, Larry Williams, Bobby Mitchell and many others. He passed away on May 10, 1986 at the age of 51.
