2004 - U.P. Wilson (Huary Perry Wilson), a Shreveport, Louisiana native and blues guitarist and singer known as "The Texas Guitar Tornado" passed away on this day at the age of 70. He was known for playing a style of deep Southern soul blues that was gospel influenced.
