He later began to tour the world as a member of jazz guitarist Mark Whitfield's band and has performed with George Benson, Jimmy Scott, Frank Morgan, Vernel Fournier, and Gerry Mulligan, Ellis Marsalis, Marcus Roberts, Allen Toussaint and others.
