| 1937 - Harry Hypolite was born on this day. A blues guitarist and a native of St. Martinville, Louisiana who played with Clifton Chenier for over two decades until the King of Zydeco passed away in 1987. He released a solo recording in 2001 called Louisiana Country Boy. He was killed in a car accident at the age of 68. |
