1995 - (Luscious) Lloyd Lambert, a legendary bass player and native of Thibodeaux, Louisiana passed away on this day at 67. He worked with the likes of Ray Charles, Little Richard, Danny Barker and Doc Cheatham during his career. He is the grandfather of blues guitarist Kipori Woods and raised him.
