1904 - Leo Adde was born on this day. Traditional jazz drummer from New Orleans. Adde was a member of the famed 'New Orleans Rhythm Kings'. He was regarded by many as one of the great traditional jazz drummers and also played with the 'Halfway House Orchestra' and the 'Christian Brothers' throughout his career. He passed away in March of 1942 at the age of 38.
