1956 - New Orleans native and 50's hit machine, Antoine 'Fats' Domino made it to the Billboard R&B charts on this day with the song 'My Blue Heaven'. The tune was a #1 pop hit for both Gene Austin and Paul Whiteman in the 1920's.
