1920 - Joshua F. 'Jack' Willis was born on this day. Traditional jazz trumpeter from Galena, Ill. He was a member of the New Orleans marching bands that included the 'Young Tuxedo Brass Band' and the 'George Lewis Brass Band'. He also played at Preservation Hall.
