1936 - Shirley Goodman was born on this day. A New Orleans native, she was one-half of the singing duo of Shirley & Lee. With her partner Leonard Lee, they put out hits in the 1950's that included "Let The Good Times Roll" and "Feels So Good" to name a few. Shirley died in Los Angeles on July 5, 2005.
