1917 - Albert 'Pud' Brown was born on this day. Jazz clarinetist and saxophonist from Sacramento, California. He was a multi-talented musician whose career included a long musical relationship with Jack Teagarden. He was also regularly employed on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. In addition to his playing capabilities, he also was a well known musical instrument restoration master.
