1942 - Leonard Arthur (Lenny) Capello Jr was born on this day. A native of New Orleans, he's a guitarist and singer from the 1950's and 1960's era most well-known with his group "The Dots". Lenny's songs "Cotton Candy, "Tootles" and "90 Pound Weakling", are still popular oldies tunes. Lenny Capello was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2009, as were the Dots in 2010.
