1975 - Jack Delaney, a traditional jazz trombonist from New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on this day at the age of 45. In the 1950's he performed with bands led by Tony Almerico and Sharkey Bonano. He also played the famous Roosevelt Hotel with Leon Kellner's Orchestra. Finally, during the 1960's, he was associated with Pete Fountain.
