1994 - Delton Broussard, a button accordionist and a native of Lawtell, Louisiana passed away on this day at the age of 66. He is best known as the long-time leader of The Lawtell Playboys. During his time as leader, he performed with Cajun music royalty that included the Carriere brothers.
