2007 - Willie Tee (Wilson Turbinton) passed away on this day. A powerfully expressive vocalist, pianist and producer rooted in the traditions of Crescent City R&B, funk and jazz. His mid-'60s soul sides are acknowledged classics. In April 2007 he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
