1953 - Greg Stafford was born on this day. A trumpeter and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Over his career he's played with the E.Gibson Brass Band, Fairview Baptist Church Brass Band, Hurricane Brass Band and the Young Tuxedo Brass Band. Greg is known for sticking to the roots of traditional jazz and played in the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
