1930 - Curtis Jack Griffin (C.C. Griffin) was born on this day. A guitarist and vocalist and a native of Poole, Louisiana. After moving to Los Angeles, he opened shows for artists such as BB King and Bobby Bland. After holding down regular jobs and raising a family, he now tours and is finally recognized for the great blues talent that he is.
