| 1950 - Bishop Paul Sylvester Morton was born on this day. A bishop, pastor and a world-reknowned vocalist and a native of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He came to New Orleans in 1972 and became pastor of Greater St. Stephen Apostolic-Baptist Church in 1975. In 2002 he became the CEO of Tehiliah Music Group, and in 2003 release a CD called Let It Rain & I'm Still Standing. |
