1938 - Antoine (Tony) Thibodeaux was born on this day. A cajun fiddler and a native of Rayne, Louisiana. He started playing at a young age, and in 1955 joined the Lafayette Playboys. He would stay with them for 13 years. In 2003 he won "Fiddler of the Year" award from the Cajun French Music Association. He was also a member of the Cajun French Music Association Hall of Fame. He passed away at the age of 72 in 2010.
