1965 - Edward Anderson was born on this day. A trumpeter and bandleader, who was born in Chicago, but works out of New Orleans, Louisiana. He's co-leader of the group Bleu Orleans, and has worked with Michael White (All-Star 1990), Kermit Ruffins (All-Star 1998), Harold Battiste (All-Star 1994), Treme Brass Band, Patrice Rushen, Brent Rose, Victor Goines, Wendell Brunious (All-Star 1981).
