1926 - Lou Millet was born on this day. A guitarist and singer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His first band was "The Melody Ramblers". That band stayed together for about four years and appeared on several radio stations. Lefty Frizzell gave him his first big break and in 1953. He's known for 'Slip, Slip, Slippin' and 'Shorty the Barber'.
