| 1959 - Arthur Ogle, traditional drummer from New Orleans, Louisiana died on this day. He was born in 1895, and was a brass band veteran, playing in the Eureka Brass Band and the Camelia Brass Band. In 1920 he played with Lee Collins in the Golden Leaf Orchestra. Arthur died in New Orleans. |
