1898 - Lemon Nash was born on this day. Traditional jazz banjoist, guitarist and vocalist from Lakeland, Louisiana. Began his musical career on banjo with Pete Williams. He also worked with Noon Johnson, but was primarily a solo entertainer. Additionally, he was a music teacher at Morris Music Company. Lemon died in New Orleans on December 27, 1969.
