1924 - Harold Cooper was born on this day. Traditional jazz clarinetist and tenor saxophonist from New Orleans, Louisiana. During the 1950's he played with George Girard, Al Hirt and the Dukes of Dixieland. In the 1960's he played with the Alamo Jazz Band. Harold died in March of 1978 in Texas.
