1915 - Freddie Kohlman was born on this day. Traditional jazz drummer from New Orleans, Louisiana. He played with Joe Robichaux in the 1930's, and the Bandleader at Sid Davilla's Mardi Gras Lounge during the fifties. He also played snare drum for the 'Young Tuxedo Brass Band', and was a regular at Jazz Ltd. In Chicago in the 1960's.
