1931 - King Karl (Bernard Jolivette ) was born on this day. a guitarist, vocalist and native of Grand Coteau, Louisiana. As a young musician he played for a short time for Lloyd Price in 1952. After he served in the military. he hooked up with Guitar Gable which lasted until the mid to late sixties. His writing credits include staples "Irene," "Life Problem," and "This Should Go On Forever". He moved to Arizona in 1992, and a musical career resurgence in the mid-nineties. He passed away in 2005.
