2002 - Tommy Yetta, a trumpeter and vocalist from Pitsburgh, PA passed away on this day at the age of 72. He made Metairie, Louisiana his home for many years was a member of The Delgado Jazz Band and The Jefferson Parish Community Band. In all he was a New Orleans entertainer for 50 years.
