1903 - Earl Fouche' was born on this day. Traditional jazz saxophonist and clarinetist from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was part of a musical family that included uncles, 'Kaiser and 'Papa' John Joseph. He began his career with the 'Young Morgan Band' and the 'Sam Morgan Band'. He also performed with the 'Tuxedo Orchestra'. In the late thirties he played with Don Albert's Big Band, then migrated to California.
