1937 - Phillip Walker was born on this day. A blues guitarist and a native of Welsh, Louisiana. He is most well known for his 1959 hit single, "Hello My Darling". He worked with Lonesome Sundown and Lonnie Brooks, and in the mid 1950s he worked in Clifton Chenier's band. Walker's final studio release is Going Back Home (2007), and he passed away in 2010 at the age of 73.
