1952 - Dalton Reed was born on this day. An R&B and soul singer from Cade, Louisiana. He began as a child singing gospel in church and laying trumpet in high school. He released his debut single, "Givin' On in to Love," in 1986. In 1990, Bullseye Blues signed Reed and the label released his debut album, Louisiana Soul Man, the following year. He died at the age of 42, in 1994.
