1955 - Nick Daniels III was born on this day. A bassist and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He began playing drums as a child and switched to bass later with the help of George Poeter, Jr. He's in demand, and has played with Cyril Neville's All-Star Review, Allen Toussaint, the Neville Brothers, Etta James, and Boz Skaggs. Currently, he is one of two bassist employed in the funk group, Dumpstphunk, headed by Ivan Neville.
