1991 - J.D. (James David) Nicholson, a pianist and vocalist and a native of Monroe, Louisiana passed away on this day. During his career he played with legendary players such as Big Mama Thrornton, Big Joe Turner and Jimmy McCracklin. J.D. passed away in 1991 at the age of 74.
