1999 - George (Curly Barefoot) Miller, a Texas blues singer and a barefoot dancer, tap dancer and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on this day at the age of 78. In addition to cutting his own recordings, he also appeared or contributed to recordings of Stick McGhee and J. Mayo Williams.
