1929 - Cornelius Coleman was born on this day. A drummer and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He played drums on most of Fats Domino's hits in the 1950's. His recorded credits also include Smiley Lewis, Dave Bartholomew, T-Bone Walker, Pee-Wee Crayton and Bobby Mitchell. he passed away in February 1973 at the young age of 43.
