1900 - Frank Bonansinga was born on this day. Jazz pianist from Jacksonville, Illinois. He played in the University of Illinois campus bands early in his career. He moved to New Orleans and ran the New Orleans Jazz Club. Through the 1950's he played with the top jazz musicians in New Orleans and died there in June of 1973.
