1911 - Leo Dejan was born on this day. Traditional jazz trumpeter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the brother of saxophonist, Harold, and led the 'Moonlight Serenaders' as a teenager. Later, he also led a group called the 'Black Diamond Orchestra'.
